Taekwondo is a dynamic Korean Martial Art and is the most widely practiced self-defense system in the world.  Taekwondo is also an Olympic Sport recognized by the WTF and sanctioned by the IOC.
Taekwondo literally means "the art or way of using the hands and feet."  Tae means foot, Kwon means hand/fist, and Do represents "the way of", as in a journey, a study of, or a lifestyle embraced!
At Precision Martial Arts Academy, we have a very dynamic and progressive self-defense curriculum that incorporates training methods from Taekwondo, Hapkido, Kick-boxing, Arnis/Kali, and more.  Instructors continue to cross-train in various styles and selectively incorporate concepts and techniques that compliment Precision's high standards and challenging student curriculum.
Weapons training is also an integral part of Precision's self-defense curriculum.  Nunchaku, Bo Staff, Single/Double Stick, and Knife are incorporated into the program, BUT not until students achieve a senior belt rank.  Students must learn and demonstrate self-control and respect for self and others first.  They must learn patience and value their training before pursuing weapons training.  "A building or house is only as strong as its foundation!"  Therefore, basics, basics, basics... are key to developing the mental maturity and physical control to responsibly train with weapons.
